1. PDA (Potato Dextrose Agar)
500 ml water
~4 grams corn syrup
8 grams agar powder
12 grams potato flakes
2. MEA (Malt Extract Agar)

💧 Liquid Culture Recipes
1. Standard LC
600 ml water
12 ml (~1g) corn syrup
≈1.2 grams light malt extract
1 gram peptone
STIR WELL
Add magnetic stir bar or marbles
Autoclave 30 min / Pressure Cook 1 hour
2. Small Batch LC
300 ml water
12 grams Karo syrup
1/16 tsp light malt extract
1/16 tsp nutritional yeast
3. Super LC
1500 ml distilled water
30 ml Karo light corn syrup
2.5 grams peptone
3.7 grams light malt extract

Substrate Recipes
1. Just Coco Coir
Weigh the block and multiply by 4.3
Boil that many milliliters of water
Throw all into a bucket and sit for 8–12 hours
If too wet, add vermiculite
2.CVG (Coir/Vermiculite/Gypsum)
650 grams coco coir
8 cups vermiculite
1 cup gypsum
18 cups boiling water
3. Manure Mix
1 block coco coir, hydrated
1 large pot of hay (boiled 20 min, strained, rest ~10 min)
~8–12 handfuls hydrated poo
Mix well, jar, and pressure cook 2 hours
4. Manure Replacement
1 tbsp FoxFarm Grow Big
1 liter boiling water

Casing Layer
1 quart peat moss (1000 ml)
1 quart vermiculite (1000 ml)
7.5 grams (1–2 tbsp) calcium hydroxide
1/2 quart (500 ml) water
Mix well & jar up
Autoclave 30 min / Pressure Cook 1 hour
Apply 1/4 inch layer (not packed in)
pH should be ~9

🌳 Woodlover’s Recipe
5 cups hardwood pellets
1/2 cup wheat bran
1.4 liters hot water
Mash hardwood pellets with hot water and let sit 30 min
Add wheat bran, test for field capacity
Bag & autoclave for 2.5 hours
Notes:
If cake is overlaying, case it
Best to maintain pH ~6.5
If pH too high or field capacity off, add vermiculite
